I started playing drums aged 5, took lessons a year later, gigged with my Dad's band at 10, hired by a working covers band aged 12, started teaching drums at 16, and headed to London at 19 to work as a studio musician and touring band member.
Hired by a top 20 UK band signed to Polydor and EMI (publishing) 1997, endorsed by Zildjian and Yamaha in 1998, toured UK, Europe, US . Since 2000 I have been very fortunate to work with many different artists in some of the best studios in London with the finest producers across many different genres - please see the bottom of this page for a full credit list.
I am obsessive about modern music history, am a multi-instrumentalist, solo artist, record collector, and (occasional) DJ. In 2018 I setup a website, The Beat Shed, an online shop for boutique drum recordings including loops, samples and online session services.
